In the early hours of Thursday 14th May, 2020, the Oyo State government via the Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has announced the death of its Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources- Honourable Kehinde Ayoola.
The Commissioner was reported to have been sick prior to his death. He in fact drove himself to Frontida Critical Care Hospital in Ibadan only two weeks ago, and was advised to go on bed rest.
That was all it was, until the confirmation of his death yesterday.
His death is a great loss to the entirety of the Oyo State Government and even the people itself.
Biography of the late Kehinde Ayoola, Oyo State Commissioner For Environment
Late Commissioner Ayoola was born in Oyo town in January 1965. He schooled in St. Michael’s Primary School, Oke Ebo, Oyo. Then he proceeeded to Olivet Baptist High School, Oyo, and had his tertiary education in the University of Ife, Ile-Ife.
Hon Kehinde Ayoola had served as the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly during the 4th Session, under the governorship of former Governor Lam Adesina.
He was sworn into office by Governor Makinde as a commissioner in Oyo state on August 14, 2019.
