What waste of talent! The Nigerian Entertainment industry got the biggest shock of the week at the announcement of the sudden death of the popular dancer and video vixen- Kodak.
With no prior illness or symptom, the young and talented dancer died seven hours after making a tweet on Twitter on the 29th of April 2020.
We do not know which is more painful, the pain of losing her, or the way in which she departed the world.
Love-Divine, as fondly called didn’t die from Coronavirus or any of the other prevalent death traps. It is very painful that she died of electrocution while charging her phone at Clarence Peters’ home in Omole Estate, Phase 1, in Lagos State.
This bitter incidence happened while she was on set. Immediately after the incidence, she was rushed off to a hospital within the estate. It was there she was confirmed dead during the early hours of Thursday, the 3Oth April. The death case was immediately reported at the Ojodu Police Station around 1am.
The death of PictureKodak has however roused mix reactions on social media. While some people agree to the fact that her death could have been naturally-caused, some others have requested that an autopsy to be run of the deceased.
One of such request was made by @pdominic77 on twitter, asking that the Lagos State Government run an autopsy on kodak.
He said, “#ripkodak one thing I know is that the death of this girl doesn’t sit right in my head. Which one is she died charging her phone bla bla bla. Please Lagos do autopsy check for drugs, strangulation marks etc I don’t trust most of this directors. I know what I’m saying.”
Sequel to this, the State Police Public Relations Officer however confirmed that the body has been taken to the mortuary for autopsy.
While we await the result of the autopsy, we pray and ask God that Kodak finds peace in her new world.
