May D – Jude Okoye Made Me Sleep On TV Cartons While I Was Under His Records Label

Akinmayokun Awodumila, popularly known as May D, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and dancer. The singer who was formally signed to the R&B duo P-Square record label “Square records” has gone public on why his music career faced regression for a long period.

Following Cynthia Morgan’s public disclosure of what transpired between her and the music executive Jude Okoye and how her career faced a fold-up with the record label, May D has also come out to share the ordeal he faced.

In a series of tweet, he explained that he had to sleep on brand new television cartons in a small room with Jude’s driver and cook.

‘For your information I was staying in their boys squatters with their driver and their cook just one room all of us shared a toilet and I had big songs and also the other side of their twin duplex was empty! Now! I slept on brand new television carton used my shirt as cover cloth.’
