Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has been named Lille player of the season after enjoying a scintillating campaign with the French side.
The 21-year-old joined Lille from Sporting Charleroi last summer thereby quickly establishing himself as a fans’ favorite.
The former Wolfsburg striker who was earlier named in the French Ligue 1 team of the season has been linked with a move to the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham, Napoli, and Real Madrid following his impressive performances for Lille.

The forward who lost his father last month scored 18 goals and created 6 assist before the outbreak of the coronavirus ended the league season in France.
Hence he becomes the second player to be named a top-flight team’s best player after Nantes announced fellow international Moses Simon as their player of the season last month.
